02 - SMS Short Code

Greenspek I.T. Solutions has an SMS short code service. What is short code? SMS shortcode is sending premium charged SMS to short numbers like 55509.

Senders are charged higher than normal SMS. Such SMS can cost as much N30, N50 or N100. This can be used for billing and revenue generation. We can register a shortcode service for you at little startup cost. Our shortcode services are highly automated and responses are sent to clients immediately. Our shortcode service can be integrated into your website or mobile app making it useful for billing services.

There are 2 types: Shared and Dedicated short codes.

SHARED SHORT CODE
A one-time setup fee of N149,000 (or US$400) Only. No monthly payments.
+ You will provide us with the required KEYWORD which has to be checked for availability.
+ Supports ALL GSM networks
+ Includes API for integration to your project.
+ Network payouts per quarter (3 months)
+ Control Panel where you can view all your transactions real-time

REVENUE
N100: MTN = N30.1, Airtel = N24.3, 9 Mobile = N10.3, Glo = N10.3

N30: MTN = N6.6, Airtel = N6.0, 9 Mobile = N3.7, Glo = N3.7
* VAT has ALREADY been removed from the above figures so that is EXACTLY what you'll get.

PAY OUT
You get paid once per quarter (every 3 months). This is the timeline given by the networks to process such transactions. You have to have generated up to N50,000 to be paid else, the payment is rolled over to the next month. Your revenue remains intact until the above threshold is reached.

DEDICATED SHORT CODE
This is quite expensive and is only used if you expect very high traffic. We DO NOT offer this service.

03 - SIM Hosting / SMS Long Code

Greenspek I.T. Solutions has an SMS long code service. Yes you heard right, LONG CODE (also called SIM Hosting). Just like Short Code service which charges users a premium amount, long codes charge the basic SMS rate and allows for the same level of integration as short code. SMS for long codes are sent to regular SIM cards so its also called SIM Hosting.

Basically, long code is short code but to a regular phone number like 09091148637 so users are charged the standard SMS fee (not premium fee). It supports all the features of short codes like keywords, message forwarding via api, customized responses etc. Our longcode services are highly automated and responses are sent to clients immediately. The service can be integrated into your website or mobile app making it useful for marketing and automated responses without billing end users
